The Triumphal Arch of the Carousel sits just in front of the Louvre in Paris. One of two Romanesque arches built by Napoleon, it was dedicated in 1808 and is topped with the goddess Victory and four horses. This is one of a series of architectural paintings by the artist of museums and monuments in Paris.
