Dominating the square in Rome where it sits, the Vittoriano, a monument to King Victor Emanuele, is a very large marble monument where, among other historical happenings, Mussolini used to orate. Some Italians think the edifice is a bit gaudy and derisively call it "The Wedding Cake". This watercolor by Paul Jackson is one of a series of architectural works by the artist of churches, monuments and museums across Europe and the United States.
